THE BONES

I was able to get the bones of the house all built in one night, so here it is assembled without all the extra detailing. Looks pretty cheap and boring if you ask me, I make my own custom changes later. The plastic windows were a complete nightmare to put on, they tear easily.

READY, SET, BUILD!

Hello! it's been a while. I've been working on the dollhouse every now and then when I get a chance, and a lot has changed. So I'll be posting separate update posts on the progress of the house and it's changes. This is when I went out and bought all the things needed to get this baby built and painted. I originally wanted an all white old looking house but then realized that the hutch it'll go on is also white, so you'll see what ended up happening on the next few post updates! I'll update as I also go now, I've gotten a lot done but also have a long way to go till it's finished!

IT HAS ARRIVED

It came a day early! Then I realized that I haven't done anything yet on ideas, paint, wallpaper, or anything for that matter. whoops! Going today after the kids nap to pick out paint. I'll post again once I get the box open and everything set up. My cat Uncle Fester is just as excited, to destroy it, lol.

WELCOME!

First post! So I ordered the Greenleaf Storybook Cottage dollhouse last week and I'm currently waiting for it to arrive in the mail. In the meantime, I've created this blog to share the building process and then the decorating process. I tried finding insp on this house exactly and wasn't able to find a good one, so I decided to create my own for anyone else who gets the storybook cottage house.

Here are the photos of the house for reference, while we wait for it to arrive.

I've also created a playlist to have while working on the house, it's a spotify playlist, and i have a link for it at the top of this blog, if you want to listen. I love a good playlist while gettin' crafty, i feel like it helps getting my creativeness out!

That's it for now unfortunately, I will update when I get the dollhouse in the mail and unbox it! Should be here on Friday, fingers crossed cause i'm embarrassingly too excited for this haha.
